FAQs

How will this course help me apply the latest 2026 research to my daily practice in the ED?

The program is deliberately designed around the most influential clinical studies from 2026 that have the greatest potential to change frontline practice. Through a dual-faculty presentation model, you’ll receive balanced perspectives, critical appraisal, and clear guidance on how to translate the evidence into better decision-making in areas such as cardiology, trauma, paediatrics, toxicology, and ED operations.

How interactive is the course? Will I have opportunities to ask questions?

While the core content is delivered through curated recordings for efficiency and depth, every session includes dedicated live Q&A segments. This gives attendees direct access to the faculty for clarification, discussion of complex cases, and practical advice tailored to Australian emergency department settings.

What makes the dual-faculty presentation model valuable for busy emergency physicians? The distinctive dual-faculty approach provides two expert viewpoints on the same body of evidence. This creates deeper critical discussion, highlights areas of controversy or uncertainty, and delivers clearer, more nuanced guidance on how the latest research should (or should not) change frontline practice.

Which high-yield topics beyond the main literature review will help me improve my day-to-day emergency medicine skills? In addition to the comprehensive study review, the program includes dedicated sessions on clinical research appraisal skills, updated pain management strategies, medicolegal case reviews, visual diagnosis workshops, and operational insights focused on improving emergency department performance and patient flow.
